We took a 1950's detached 3 bedroom house and gutted it. Providing it with new foundations and a new roof of hand made clay tiles. We more than doubled its size by extending it on three sides with a new, super insulated, light and airy extension, designed to make the most of its sunny south and west aspect, and gave it a fully tiled and insulated floor with full underfloor heating throughout. The upper floor being heated with super efficient designer aluminum radiators. We then wrapped the exterior of the whole house in a further coat of insulation before rendering it using a german high tech self coloured render that will never need painting. The very high standard of insulation, coupled with a highly efficient gas condensing boiler ensures that future heating bills will be kept to a minimum. At the same time we completely renewed all services, electricity, gas, water and sewerage, providing electrical outlets and lighting and waterthroughout the garden. The result - a house that is a delight to live in. One that is warm in winter and cool in summer, spacious, very light and airy, flexible and convenient (there are electrical, tv and
phone points everywhere!). Great for parties, with plenty of off road parking for guests with spectacular gardens ideal for barbecues or just relaxing in.
