Built in 1910, Enderleigh is a large Edwardian house with many original features. The house was renovated internally in mid-2002. This included new plumbing, wiring, double-glazing, central heating and kitchen. It has a total living space of about 2500 square feet, plus cellars and a small attic storage area. It sits in a plot that is about 90 feet square, with gardens on all sides of the house. The total area of the garden is about one sixth of an acre. There is a shed and a greenhouse.

The living room has a large feature fireplace and a stained-glass panelled door. Both reception rooms have decorated ceilings and antique radiators (as part of the modern c/h system). All rooms have their original floorboards and almost all of the doors are panelled. Two bedrooms have their original fireplaces, although these are not currently used.

The house has a stairlift, making it suitable for people with mobility problems. It could be easily removed if not required.

The street is quiet with only 10 houses, all built on one side of the road: the other side is tree-lined. (The trees are all subject to preservation orders.) Enderleigh is sufficiently far from the main road that traffic on the road is virtually inaudible. There is no through route for traffic - Enderleigh marks the end of the road - but there is a through route for pedestrians. This is mainly used by parents and children going to the local primary school.

The property is convenient for the M62 (15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions). Leeds can be reached in about 40 minutes. It is close to open country, which is 5 minutes away by car and Ogden Water, a local beauty spot and wildfowl centre of international importance is less than 10 minutes away. Hebden Bridge, Haworth and the Bronte country are not much further. It is right on the edge of the West Yorkshire conurbation and close to a lot of beautiful scenery.
